On a personal note...

I recently realized that I never really talk about myself here. Some people include lots of personal information on their book blogs. I enjoy reading about their lives, but I never think of doing it myself.

For those of you who don't already know, I'm a school library media specialist in training.

I've been looking at all the reading challenges I signed up for this year and am beginning to question my sanity since I am in my last semester of graduate school for library science and I begin....STUDENT TEACHING...on Monday.

My home will look something like this for the forseeable future

I can't even believe how nervous I am! Wish me luck, and forgive me if I take a backseat to commenting and hanging around blogland for the next few months.

Definitely good luck. I can't imagine trying to do all this blogging and stuff I was in school. Or at least not to the level I do it at.

It seems so hard to stop signing up for Challenges! Thanks for stopping by today. I'll have to pick up Joshua Ferris's first book. I'm intrigued to read it now.

Best of luck student teaching, I just finished mine a few weeks ago. It's going to be crazy, don't get too stressed though! You can handle it!

Congrats on being that close to being done! You'll do great. I was sooooo nervous for my student teaching (I had seniors!) but it went fine.

I've thought about going back to get my media specialist degree, but I'm not sure I can put in the hours!

I used to help out in the media center of my kids' grade school and thought being a media specialist might be the greatest job in the building.
