These characters and many others find their lives inextricably entangled as, in a saga of unfolding drama and intriguing complexity, Fall of Giants moves seamlessly from Washington to St. Petersburg, from the dirt and danger of a coal mine to the glittering chandeliers of a palace, from the corridors of power to the bedrooms of the mighty. As always with Ken Follett, the historical background is brilliantly researched and rendered, the action fast-moving, the characters rich in nuance and emotion. It is destined to be a new classic.
In future volumes of The Century Trilogy, subsequent generations of the same families will travel through the great events of the rest of the twentieth century, changing themselves-and the century itself. With passion and the hand of a master, Follett brings us into a world we thought we knew, but now will never seem the same again.
This title will be released on September 28, 2010.

Follets books are always a great read and this one looks like another winner. Good choice.
I've been meaning for a long time to read something by Ken Follet. This trilogy sounds like it's going to be a winner.
This DEFINITELY falls into the category of "can't wait to read"! I'd been sort of back-of-the-mind thinking about how Follett would follow up Pillars and World, and this trilogy sounds no less ambitious!
I loved The Pillars of the Earth, but have not read World Without End yet. This book looks wonderful, and it's going right on the wish list. Thanks!
I'm looking forward to this one too. I enjoyed both The Pillars of the Earth and World Without End - none of Follett's other books have really appealed to me, but this new trilogy sounds great.
It looks awesome! I can't decide if I want to start it when it comes out or wait until all three volumes are out. Thanks!
It sounds cool. But not really my 'type'.
I've never read anything by this author. It looks good!
This looks amazing. Follett's books are so good and this looks like a great follow up to Pillars and World.
This trilogy sounds interesting. Code to Zero is the only Ken Follett book I've read so far.
My WoW pick is here.
Sounds Great; thanks for making us aware of this book.
I still haven't gotten through his "World Without End" yet. This does sound interesting though.
Follet is a great author! His Pillars of the Earth is still one of my all time favorite reads, even after 20 years plus.
I've still got to get to Follet's other books first!
In the Fall of Giants by Ken Follett , there are several interesting characters but it was the background which took my breath away.
