Amanda,
Because of Winn Dixie is the book I'll be handing out on April 23rd for World Book Night. I'm eager to be a part of this amazing global literacy event. www.worldbooknight.org

Awesome Margo! That's actually the reason I read the book this year. I'm reading the entire list of World Book Night books. It is definitely a great literacy event, and you picked a wonderful book.
Love this book!!!!!! And I'm handing it out too.
I read it aloud to my 7th graders a few times. And they pointed out to me when she switches from calling her dad the "preacher" to calling him father. Really cool :)
