I'm going to go with Martha Stuart (so I can have yummy recipes PLUS get my OCD fill) or William Faulkner (because if I can't have order, I'd settle for stream of consciousness).
...but you're right. It's kind of an evil question.
Wow this is a really hard one. I tend to pride myself on reading a wide variety of authors. Maybe I would pick someone like R. L. Stine because he has a lot of books or Tamora Pierce because I absolutely love her books. But at the end of the day, I would very much hope I would never be in this situation :)
Guess it would have to be Jane Austen just because I know I'd love to read them and there are enough to make it last a while before I had to start again.

Have to be Stephen King. He's got so many books, at least there would be lots of variet, plus I love his books.

Yikes! Well, okay... Peter Carey.
It's impossible...can I pick one from each genre? :)
David McCollough non fiction
Jen Lancaster for laughs
Jane Austen...just because.

That's a hard one. I think I'd pick Margaret Atwood, since she has so many books I haven't read yet :)
That is a tough one. I might choose Patrick O'Brian.
