These look great. I'm a big fan of this author, even visited her childhood home in Concord. They had just recently discovered drawings on the walls in one of the bedrooms of the profiles of several of her sisters. It was really cool!

The Glory Cloak looks intriguing--I know that Florence Nightingale had a big impact on Elizabeth Gaskell--they had mutual friends and met occasionally, and Nightingale's single-minded dedication to her work caused Gaskell much soul-searching. I wonder about how affected whom most in the Alcott/Barton relationship.

I love your blog - I'm a new reader and looking forward to following your writings. It's hard to find good literary blogs - too many fantasy, romance and YA out there! ;)
